Victor advises companies from various spheres on taxation, business accounting, price setting and foreign economic activity.

Furthermore, Victor monitors 'personal taxes' of individuals: Victor handles tax residency issues, submission of statements on personal tax payable in the Republic of Belarus and application of double taxation treaties.

As a member of the expert council of the Belarusian Taxpayers' Association, Victor participates in preparing proposals on prospective regulatory acts, elaboration of prospective norms and policies, studies and generalises practical issues relevant for taxpayers in the Republic of Belarus. Also, Victor counsels IT companies, in particular Hi-Tech Park residents.

Since 2007, Victor has authored many analytical materials – journal articles, guidelines, question-and-answer documents – for reference and information systems ConsultantPlus, ilex, BusinessInfo, Normativka.by, "Chief Accountant" journal, and Economy Newspaper.

Our associates carried out a comprehensive survey to assess risks of a prospective M&A transaction to purchase the ModusPark company. On behalf of the client, one of the biggest Belarusian private companies, our associates carried out comprehensive Legal Due Diligence, Financial Due Diligence, and prepared an SPA agreement.

An exclusive importer of medical equipment

Defending a client in a criminal case involving alleged tax evasion. The investigative agency charged the client with having developed and implemented a scheme to evade taxes from business activities of a foreign entity “G” in the territory of the Republic of Belarus via its representative office by means of supplying certain types of goods to state bodies within the framework of state purchases procedures. The case was complicated in that it was one of the first criminal cases in Belarus where such activities were treated as criminal by law enforcement agencies.
